I’m a fully qualified acupuncturist with over 15 years of clinical experience and a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
My training began with a four-year degree in acupuncture, providing an extensive foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture theory and clinical practice.
I then spent 12 years working within a busy specialist fertility acupuncture clinic in Leeds, where I gained extensive experience supporting clients through natural conception, IVF, ICSI, pregnancy and complex fertility journeys.
Fertility and women’s health have remained a particular focus of my practice, and I have continued to undertake specialist postgraduate training in reproductive health, fertility and IVF support.
I also believe strongly in continuing to learn throughout clinical practice. I receive regular one-to-one clinical supervision and mentoring, which I have maintained for many years. This gives me the opportunity to continually reflect on my work, discuss more complex cases and develop my approach as new research and understanding emerge.
My approach is thorough, individual and evidence-informed. I take time to understand the wider picture, including your health history, fertility investigations, IVF protocols and lifestyle, so that treatment can be tailored to you rather than simply treating a diagnosis.
