Specialist IVF Acupuncture Middlesbrough & Stockton

Fresh IVF, FET, IUI, ICSI OR Donor Cycle-

Rachael English at her Middlesbrough fertility acupuncture clinic with IVF thank you cards from patients.

If you’re looking for IVF acupuncture in Middlesbrough, Stockton, Darlington, or near by areas, hello and welcome.

I'm Rachael, and I specialise in all things fertility. I offer specialist IVF acupuncture for those in Middlesbrough, Stockton and the wider areas

After recently relocating from Leeds and spending the last 15 years supporting clients at every stage of their IVF journey, I bring with me a huge wealth of knowledge and support and offer Acupunctureure at both my clinics in Northallerton & Yarm.

Acupuncture is one of the most widely used complementary treatments during IVF, shown to improve egg quality, uterine lining, and emotional well-being.

With over 15 years of experience, I will work alongside your fertility treatment plan to help you feel supported, informed, and empowered every step of the way.

When should I start? How often do I need acupuncture during IVF?

Picture of IVF time line

I recommend starting acupuncture, ideally minimum of 3 months before a fresh assisted cycle (IUI or IVF). This is because it takes up to around 100 days for an egg to mature, 3 months of acupuncture, diet, supplements and lifestyle changes can provide the best chance of influencing both sperm and egg quality. Once your IVF treatment starts, weekly acupuncture sessions are encouraged until egg collection.

Short-Term IVF Support Middlesbrough, Stockton, and Darlington

Are you starting your IVF cycle in Middlesbrough, Stockton, or Darlington in just a few weeks? Wondering if you’ve left it too late to start Acupuncture? It’s never too late to start incorporating acupuncture into your fertility journey.

Acupuncture can still have a positive impact on your fertility, even if you're beginning your IVF cycle soon. By receiving acupuncture treatments, you can improve blood flow to the uterus, enhance the quality of the uterine lining, and promote relaxation of the nervous system.
