For effective fertility support, I recommend weekly or at a minimum fortnightly acupuncture sessions for three months. This timeframe facilitates improvements in metabolic, immunological, and hormonal balance. As it takes about three menstrual cycles for an egg to mature, regular acupuncture enhances the environment for better egg quality.
Acupuncture helps regulate the immune system, boost pregnancy receptivity, promote relaxation, and increase blood flow to the reproductive organs, supporting overall fertility health.
During this period, we can also address necessary testing and implement personalised diet and lifestyle changes. After three months, you can choose to continue with fortnightly sessions, pause, or receive early pregnancy support.
How It Works
BLOOD FLOW
Acupuncture increases blood flow and circulation to the ovaries, uterus and uterine lining. Improved blood circulation provides a better environment for the development and implantation of an embryo.
HORMONE REGULATION
MRI reveals that acupuncture prompts observable changes in the brain, the center of your hormone system. Acupuncture helps regulate hormones such as FSH, LH, and cortisol.
INFLAMMATION
Acupuncture reduces inflammation and increases uterine lining receptivity, while also regulating the body's immune and stress response.
Some Recent Success Stories

-
PCOS is one of the most common causes of female infertility.
Women with PCOS, particularly those with irregular or infrequent periods, have their own particular challenges when it comes to conceiving. Acupuncture protocols may help to reduce some of the factors that operate with polycystic ovaries.
For example, Acupuncture may help reduce testosterone and LH levels and help to promote more frequent ovulation and better quality eggs. Acupuncture may also help to decrease insulin resistance and reduce sympathetic nervous system activity, both of which are often high in PCOS. Working at all these levels, Acupuncture can help to improve ovarian function and increase ovulation frequency restoring more regular menstrual cycles. 1

Studies suggest that Acupuncture can improve female fertility by enhancing blood flow in the uterine artery. This helps create a better environment for follicle development and increases blood flow to the uterus, which can improve the thickness of the endometrial lining and boost the chances of embryo implantation.
Eggs need good blood flow, nutrients, hormone signals, and energy for healthy development. While you can't change DNA or turn back time, Acupuncture may help improve egg quality by enhancing nutrition delivery and energy production. Acupuncture can boost blood vessel growth and flow to the ovaries, especially during crucial egg development stages.
